Jetfuel is a service that facilitates food ordering and delivery directly to your gate from a wealth of restaurants at your international airport.
My objective on the Jetfuel project was to design an experience where travelers can order food from restaurants at an international airport. I was tasked with conducting user and market research, crafting wireframes, and creating a clickable prototype.
User and Market research was conducted as well as an initial market analysis.
Created wireframes, user-flows, and prototypes to accomplish user needs.
Created pixel-perfect mockups and design libraries in Adobe XD and Sketch for handoff to developers.
Here are some of the programs I used on the Jetfuel project. Sketch was used for wireframing. Adobe XD was used for mockups and prototyping. Photoshop and After Effects were used for animation, product mockups, and image editing.
The first part of my design process included user research. I conducted a short survey in which 13 jetsetters were asked about their experiences ordering food at airports. Here are some of the insights that were gleaned from the survey:
Of participants buy food and drink every time they fly.
Said they feel rushed for time at the airport.
Of participants said ratings and reviews are important to determine where they eat.
Said food ordering and delivery apps save them time.
Of participants travel with their phone. 61% travel with their laptop.
Of participants traveled 3 or more times per year.
